I started on this journey 25 years ago, when I walked into a massage school around the corner from my apartment in San Francisco. Early on, I knew that this came naturally to me and that this was something that I really enjoyed doing.

I practice my own blend of traditional Swedish and Deep Tissue mixed with Asian/ Eastern techniques and philosophies. I learned Zen Shiatsu from Zen Master Ryuho Yamada in 2001-2002. In 2004 I went to Thailand and attended Wat Po School of Traditional Thai Massage where I learned basic Traditional Thai and Thai Foot Massage. I studied Prenatal and Postnatal Massage from Mariah Blackwolf, Carole Gordon, and Carol Osborne. From 2012 on I embarked on the study of Abdominal Therapy in the lineage of Rosita Arvigo, who learned from Don Elijio, a healer in Belize. I have also studied Traditional Lomi-Lomi Massage in the lineage of Aunty Margaret. More recently, I've taken courses in the foundations of Ayurvedic healing and Tibetan Cranial Therapy from DeAnna Batdorff.

Most importantly, I've developed my skills and awareness from receiving massage therapy regularly, and from the people I've worked with throughout my career. The goal is to create a safe container to gain a deeper understanding of our body and to feel a sense of well-being from within.

When I'm not in my office, I'm usually at home with my family, cooking, working on my hobbies (making handmade paper and potions), watching movies, and homeschooling our two teen daughters.
